Job Description:
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Patient Care Services (RN) to lead and oversee clinical operations for our home health agency. This role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting the professional growth of our clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of patient care services in compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation standards.
Lead and mentor a team of nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of care.
Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure best practices and consistent quality of care.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing education and training to clinical staff.
Collaborate with other departments to achieve operational efficiency and enhance patient satisfaction.
Monitor and ensure compliance with all documentation, reporting, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the growth and success of the agency.
Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in CA.
Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience in Home Health, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or management role in home health.
In-depth knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and home health regulations.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in HCHB EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
