Shift & Schedule
- Day Shift: 4 x 10-hour shifts
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Requirements & Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
- Proficient with Epic charting system (EPIC HARD STOP - required)
- Travel experience required (NO first-time travelers - HARD STOP)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Professional expertise and skills including:
- Circulate Procedures
- Ventilator Monitoring (required)
- Medication administration and monitoring, with experience in Procedural Sedation
- Cardiac Cath Lab Procedures, including Scrub Procedures (required)
- Electrophysiology Procedures, including Scrub Procedures (required)
- Trauma Level I experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards of practice
- Effectively circulate and scrub during Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology procedures
- Monitor ventilator settings and patient response to ventilation
- Administer and monitor medications including procedural sedation safely
- Utilize the Epic charting system accurately for documentation of patient care and treatments
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Ensure patient safety and comfort while maintaining strict adherence to clinical guidelines
- Respond promptly to emergencies, utilizing ACLS and BLS skills as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
- At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience, including preferred Trauma Level I exposure
- Strong proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
- Current American Heart Association ACLS and BLS certifications
- Demonstrated ability in circulator and scrub roles for Cardiac Cath and Electrophysiology procedures
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills
- Proven track record of safe medication administration techniques, including sedation monitoring
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
