Join Our Team as a Radiology / Cardiology Healthcare Professional in Eureka, CA

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiology / Cardiology professional to join our dynamic healthcare team. Shift & Schedule

  • Day Shift: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5x8 Hour Schedule)

Requirements & Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in Radiology/Cardiology
  • Proficient with charting systems, specifically Epic
  • Certifications required: ARRT(T) and BLS
  • Experience working in Adult Acute Care settings
  • Expertise in pretreatment procedures including custom molds, custom shields, and tumor localization
  • Skilled in beam modifying and positioning techniques such as block cutting, B-Mode acquisition targeting, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, compensation filters, portal cast, and wedges
  • Ability to calculate radiation doses accurately as part of treatment plans
  • Familiarity with treatment planning systems like Pinnacle (Philips) and Eclipse (Varian)
  • Experience with treatment modalities including External Beam Therapy and IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy)
  • Proficient in the use of lift and transfer devices
  • Strong understanding of professional knowledge including isolation precautions, radiation safety, and the use of rapid response/code teams
  • Competency in caring for patients across age groups: young adult, middle adult, and older adult

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced radiologic and cardiologic imaging and treatment procedures with accuracy and adherence to safety protocols
  • Utilize treatment planning systems to create precise, individualized radiation therapy plans
  • Prepare and apply beam modifying and positioning techniques to ensure optimal treatment delivery
  • Conduct pretreatment procedures including tumor localization and use of custom molds and shields
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation using the Epic charting system
  • Adhere to radiation safety standards to protect patients, staff, and self
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including rapid response/code teams, to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Assist with patient positioning and use lift/transfer devices when necessary to ensure comfort and safety
  • Maintain knowledge of and comply with isolation precautions and infection control policies
  • Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population, including young adults, middle-aged adults, and older adults

Qualifications

  • Valid ARRT(T) certification
  • Current BLS certification
  • At least 1 year of clinical experience in radiology/cardiology settings
  • Experience with Epic charting system required
  • Proven expertise with Pinnacle and/or Eclipse treatment planning systems
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety, isolation precautions, and emergency response protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Rate: $75.00 - $89.00
