Nurse Manager (RCM) (LPN or RN)


Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse Manager to lead our nursing team in providing exceptional patient care. The RN or LPN Nurse Manager (RCM/MDS) to oversee the proper administration of total care to our residents. Provides general nursing care to residents, and oversee the work of the Licensed Nurses and CNAs in our facility.

Responsibilities

  • Obtains and administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
  • Observes resident, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor, family, (responsible party) and physician of resident's change in condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.
  • Takes vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of resident.
  • Administers appropriate disciplinary action for nursing staff non-compliance with state and federal regulations and Center policies.
  • Modifies resident care plan, care directives, Activities of Daily Living (ADL), and Aide flow sheets in conjunction with resident changes in condition.
  • Provides general nursing care to residents and oversees the work of the Licensed Nurses and CNAs in our facility.

    Qualifications

  • Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Required: Current LPN or RN licensure in the state of employment.
  • Preferred: Two years’ experience working in a long-term care
  • Preferred: Point Click Care (PCC) experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of nursing process, particularly as it relates to geriatric residents, long-term care, and rehabilitation.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour

    Ability to Relocate:

  • Mitchell, SD 57301: Relocate before starting work (Required)
