Care Coordinator/Direct Support Professional
Position Overview
As a Care Coordinator, you’ll support young adults in residential care. In this role, you'll monitor clients’ daily activities, maintain a safe and clean environment, and engage clients in active, non-digital experiences. You'll work collaboratively with the therapy team to support client growth, ensure adherence to program guidelines, and maintain order and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and engage clients in non-digital daily activities
Lead experiential and community activities with clients
Assist clients in Self-Administered Medication Administration
Complete rounds every few hours and document
Assist clients in making meals
Mentor and monitor clients while completing their ADL's
Write end-of shirt reports to keep clinical team up-to-date
Provide safe client transport as needed
Monitor and encourage positive client behavior and daily hygiene
Document shift activities and maintain clear communication with the therapeutic team
Prepare and serve dinner from our fairly simple menu during swing shift
Prepare and serve lunch from our menu during day shift
Light housekeeping responsiblities
Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 1 year experience in mental health, education, or residential care preferred
Must be comfortable working with people with addictive behaviors.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Valid WA driver’s license and clean driving record
Must pass background check and drug screen (including THC)
Must have a valid CPR, AED, and First-Aid in person course certification
Food Handler's Card
CNA helpful but not required
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Rate: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
Benefits eligibility for full-time employees, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and Simple IRA matching
Additional hours may be available if interested. Any job offer will be contingent upon the results of a background check.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
