About This Position

Job Summary

Join Our Growing Therapy Team!

We are seeking compassionate, motivated, and patient-centered Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA), Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA), Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA), and other qualified therapy assistants to join our multidisciplinary outpatient therapy clinic.

As a valued member of our team, you will work under the supervision of licensed therapists to provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy services. You will implement individualized treatment plans, document patient progress, educate patients and caregivers, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to help individuals achieve their highest level of function and independence.

Qualifications & Skills

Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), or other applicable credential as required by state regulations.

Graduate of an accredited therapy assistant program.

Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and rehabilitation principles applicable to your discipline.

Experience working with pediatric, adult, and/or geriatric populations is preferred.

Experience treating individuals with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, neurological disorders, orthopedic conditions, cognitive impairments, or other disabilities is a plus.

Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions and patient-centered care practices.

Proficiency in medical terminology, electronic medical records (EMR), and clinical documentation.

Ability to safely assist with patient mobility, transfers, positioning, and activities of daily living.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to educate patients, families, and caregivers effectively.

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment while managing a diverse caseload.
