About This Position
Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide quality care for residents in residential senior living communities. Through our healthcare staffing team, you'll have the opportunity to work in assisted living and memory care, settings that emphasize resident-centered care.
These communities offers competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to work in environments with lower-acuity residents than many acute care hospital settings. Whether you're looking for full-time, part-time, or PRN opportunities, we have assignments available to fit your schedule.
Responsibilities
Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort.
Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature; accurately document findings in electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems).
Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and transfer equipment when needed.
Provide compassionate care while promoting residents' dignity, comfort, and independence.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure clear understanding of care plans and patient needs.
Document all patient interactions thoroughly in medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
Current (or in progress) Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare staff.
Ability to assist with lifting, transferring, and repositioning residents safely.
Experience in assisted living, skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or memory care is preferred but not required.
Strong caregiver communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and educate patients about their care plans.
