Private Duty Nurse (RN)
Location: SEATTLE,BURIEN,RENTON,KENT, WA
Schedule: Monday to Sunday. 8-10-12-16 hours day shift

Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to a client located in the SEATTLE,BURIEN,RENTON,KENT, WA. The nurse will deliver direct patient care, monitor health status, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to achieve the best outcomes.
Experienced RNs or LPNs are preferred, but training and orientation will be provided for those new to private duty or home health nursing.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct and participate in comprehensive patient assessments to develop individualized care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and overall health status.
Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, catheter management, and other specialized procedures.
Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
Educate patients and families on disease management, health maintenance, and preventive care.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation.
Communicate effectively with physicians, therapists, and care coordinators.
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition or emergencies.
Provide emotional support, compassion, and companionship to patients and their families.
Perform other nursing duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the State of Washington.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Previous clinical experience preferred; training provided for new private duty or home health nurses.
English language proficiency strongly preferred.
Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Compassionate, reliable, and patient-centered approach to care.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
