About This Position

Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a school district in Bothell, WA seeking a dedicated and flexible Registered Nurse (RN) to give one-on-one support health services to a Medically Complex Student who was recently diagnosed with Diabetic Needs.

This unique opportunity involves providing individualized nursing support to the student in both the school setting and community-based activities. The ideal candidate is confident working independently, enjoys building meaningful relationships with students, and has recent experience working with teenagers.

Key Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one nursing care for a student with diabetes

Monitor and manage the student's health needs throughout the school day

Support participation in classroom, school, and community activities

Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers

Respond to health concerns and emergencies as needed

Maintain accurate documentation and follow all district protocols

Additional Details

Pay: $48 to $51 an hour

Schedule: Day shift (approximately 7 hours per day; start and end times vary based on student needs)

Contract Dates: September 1, 2026 through June 16, 2027

Qualifications

Required: Active California School Nurse Credential (fully credentialed)

Required: Recent experience working with teenagers within the past 12 months

OPSI Fingerprint Clearance (or ability to obtain)

School-based nursing experience preferred

Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills

Ability to work independently in both school and community settings

Strong communication and organizational skills
