Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Life Care Centers of Omaha. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality patient care while supporting the overall mission of our facilities. Your expertise will contribute to improving patient outcomes and enhancing the quality of life for those we serve.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care standards.
Requirements
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Strong knowledge of MDS and ICD-10 coding.
Experience in skilled nursing or assisted living settings preferred.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and team members.
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
