Are you a General Surgery ACNP or experienced PA-C seeking a new position in the Palm Springs, CA area?
We are seeking experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) to join a dynamic General Surgery practice in Palm Springs, California. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside skilled surgeons in a collaborative environment providing comprehensive surgical care across inpatient, outpatient, and perioperative settings.
New graduate ACNPs with RN experience will be considered, so please apply!
We offer relocation allowance if needed!
Schedule: 12+ Hour Day Shifts & Per Diem Coverage Available
Position Highlights:
Full-time position with 12+ hour day shifts
Opportunity for 1 Per Diem provider to supplement non-surgical coverage
Mix of inpatient rounding, consults, admissions, discharges, and surgical follow-up care
Non-surgical position
Collaborative multidisciplinary team
Competitive compensation package

Malpractice coverage provided
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments
Manage pre-operative and post-operative surgical patients
Conduct inpatient rounds and coordinate care plans
Order and interpret diagnostic studies
Perform procedures within scope of practice
Collaborate closely with General Surgeons, nursing staff, and ancillary services
Provide patient and family education
Document clinical encounters in the EMR
Qualifications:
Required
Current California NP or PA license or license eligible
Board Certification as ACNP or PA-C
DEA registration (or eligibility)
Minimum 1–2 years of surgical, acute care, trauma, or inpatient experience
Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
Preferred
General Surgery experience
Surgical floor, trauma, or critical care background
Per Diem
Flexible scheduling
Coverage for vacations, weekends, and census fluctuations
Minimum availability requirements may apply
Compensation:
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. Full-time providers are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, PTO, CME, retirement plan, and malpractice coverage.
Salary range is experience driven annually:($153,150K - $232,650K) hourly:($73.63- $111.85) The per diem range will be discussed during interview process
