Are you an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for providing exceptional in-home care?
BrightStar Care of Omaha is seeking a skilled and compassionate Full-Time Infusion Nurse to join our team. As an Infusion Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our clients in the comfort of their homes.
Responsibilities:
Administer medications and fluids via intravenous (IV) lines, central lines, and other access devices
Monitor patients' responses to treatment and report any changes or concerns to the physician
Educate patients and their families on proper care and management of infusion therapies
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
Qualifications:
Current RN license in the State of Nebraska
Minimum of 1 year of recent infusion experience
Proficiency in IV insertion and maintenance
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a1 team
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
