Requirements & Skills
- Licensed Physical Therapist with a valid license to practice in Wisconsin
- Demonstrated expertise in inpatient physical therapy care
- Proficient in patient assessment, treatment planning, and therapy execution
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and patients
- Ability to document care and progress accurately and timely
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy services to inpatient populations in accordance with established protocols and standards
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess mobility, strength, and functional status
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patient mobility and independence
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and strategies to support recovery
- Maintain precise documentation of treatment sessions, patient progress, and outcomes
- Adhere to all regulatory and safety guidelines within the inpatient setting
Qualifications
- Doctorate or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT or MPT)
- Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Wisconsin
- Experience in an inpatient setting preferred but not required
- CPR certification preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Rate: $65.00 - $77.00
