Requirements and Skills
- Licensed Physical Therapist with valid credentials to practice in Wisconsin
- Demonstrated expertise in inpatient physical therapy care
- Strong clinical knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and patient mobility interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to assess patient needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and document progress thoroughly
- Commitment to patient safety and adherence to healthcare protocols and standards
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient physical therapy evaluations and treatments tailored to individual patient conditions
- Develop, implement, and modify rehabilitation plans based on patient progress and healthcare goals
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals, techniques, and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Monitor patient responses and adjust therapeutic interventions to optimize outcomes
- Participate actively in team meetings and case reviews to promote continuous improvement in patient care
Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited physical therapy educational program
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Wisconsin
- Prior experience in an inpatient clinical setting preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities related to patient care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
