Requirements & Skills
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Wisconsin
- Strong knowledge of inpatient physical therapy techniques and rehabilitation protocols
- Excellent patient assessment and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Effective communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced inpatient environment
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient physical condition including mobility limitations and functional impairments
- Develop, implement, and adjust therapeutic treatment plans based on patient progress and goals
- Provide hands-on physical therapy treatments including therapeutic exercises and modalities as appropriate
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
- Educate patients and families regarding therapeutic goals and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments and progress
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards in patient care delivery
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current and active Physical Therapist license in Wisconsin
- Experience in an inpatient clinical setting preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation: Hourly rate of $65.00 - $77.00
