Requirements & Skills
- Current and valid Physical Therapist license
- Minimum of 1 year experience in inpatient physical therapy preferred
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy protocols and inpatient rehabilitation techniques
- Excellent patient assessment and therapeutic intervention skills
- Ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary care teams
- Exceptional communication and documentation skills
- Commitment to delivering patient-centered care
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical abilities and limitations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to inpatient rehabilitation goals
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence
- Monitor and document patient progress regularly and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and families on therapy goals, home exercises, and post-discharge plans
- Ensure compliance with all clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Wisconsin
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
- Empathy and dedication toward improving patient outcomes
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, inpatient healthcare environment
Compensation: Hourly rate between $65.00 - $77.00
