We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team in Seattle, WA. Shift / Schedule
- Night Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
- Hours: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Position Details
- Unit: Labor and Delivery (Auto Offer)
- Hourly Rate: $56.00 - $67.00

Requirements and Skills
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure valid in the state of Washington
- Demonstrated skills in Labor and Delivery nursing, including patient assessment and fetal monitoring
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond quickly to changes in patient condition
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support patients and families
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
- Adherence to infection control policies and patient safety standards
- Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and documentation
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period
- Conduct thorough assessments of mother and fetus, monitoring vital signs and fetal heart tones
- Administer medications and interventions as prescribed, including pain management and emergency procedures
- Collaborate closely with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans
- Support and educate patients and their families through the childbirth process, addressing questions and concerns compassionately
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing care and patient responses
- Respond promptly to obstetric emergencies in accordance with established protocols
- Uphold patient privacy, confidentiality, and dignity at all times
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Washington State
- Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications highly desirable
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
