Shift Schedule
- Night Shift: 2x 12-hour shifts from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM
- Day Shift: 1x 8-hour shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiology / CT Tech
- Certification Requirements:
- ARRT CT Certification
- ARRT Radiography (R) Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Required imaging and post-processing skills:
- 3D rendering including Maximum Intensity Projection, Surface Shaded Displays, Volume Rendering
- Multiplanar Reconstruction (MPR)
- Region of Interest (ROI) measurement
- Proficiency in imaging procedures of:
- Abdomen and Pelvis with and without contrast
- Head and Neck including carotid imaging
- Chest imaging including vascular chest studies (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta)
- Spine and Musculoskeletal imaging
- Experience working in Adult Acute Care and ICU settings
- Hands-on professional skills including:
- Starting Peripheral IVs
- Venipuncture
- Preparation and administration of contrast media
- Radiation safety and adherence to isolation precautions/PPE protocols
- Familiarity with GE imaging equipment and PACS systems
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred
- Travel experience not required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging according to protocols including contrast administration when applicable.
- Utilize advanced image display and post-processing techniques such as 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction to aid diagnostic accuracy.
- Ensure all imaging aligns with patient safety standards, radiation safety guidelines, and infection control protocols.
- Assist clinical teams by starting peripheral IVs and conducting venipuncture as part of imaging preparation.
- Maintain clear, accurate patient records using preferred electronic charting systems like Epic.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams in acute care, ICU, and emergency department environments.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment and software, including GE systems and PACS, to ensure optimal functionality and diagnostic quality.
Qualifications
- Current ARRT certification in CT and Radiography (R)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 1 year experience in CT radiology imaging
- Demonstrated ability in advanced imaging processing and interpretation tools
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety and patient care procedures
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a clinical team
- Flexibility to work night or day shifts as scheduled
Compensation & Benefits
