Shift & Schedule

  • Day Shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Night Shift: 4x10 hours, 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM

Requirements & Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of professional pharmacy experience
  • Valid Oregon Pharmacist License (required)
  • Certification in Chemo/Hazardous Drug handling (required)
  • Experience with Home Health Infusion (required)
  • Proficiency in inpatient/acute care pharmacy settings
  • Competency with Pyxis medication dispensing systems (required)
  • Preferred experience using Epic charting system
  • Preferred community hospital pharmacy experience
  • No travel required

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently using Pyxis and other dispensing systems
  • Manage pharmaceutical care in both inpatient and home health infusion settings
  • Ensure safe preparation and handling of chemotherapy and hazardous drugs in compliance with safety protocols
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy for patients
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, preferably using Epic or other electronic charting systems
  • Provide patient counseling and education on medication use and safety
  • Monitor medication inventory and handle ordering to maintain appropriate stock levels

Qualifications

  • Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Oregon
  • Chemo/Hazardous Drug certification
  • Strong clinical knowledge of medication therapy management
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
