Requirements & Skills
- Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin
- Prior experience in an ICU or critical care setting preferred
- Ability to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality care
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the 2E SICU, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing life-support equipment
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately and timely
- Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in patient condition
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and ongoing care
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Wisconsin
- Completion of an accredited nursing program
- Minimum experience in critical care or ICU nursing preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred
- Strong clinical judgment with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards
Compensation: Hourly rate ranging from $63.00 to $74.00, paid weekly through Quick2Hire.
