Requirements & Skills

  • Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin
  • Prior experience in an ICU or critical care setting preferred
  • Ability to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality care

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the 2E SICU, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing life-support equipment
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately and timely
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in patient condition
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and ongoing care
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities

Qualifications

  • Current RN license in Wisconsin
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program
  • Minimum experience in critical care or ICU nursing preferred
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards

Compensation: Hourly rate ranging from $63.00 to $74.00, paid weekly through Quick2Hire.
