Requirements & Skills
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Michigan
- Proven experience in Emergency Room nursing or equivalent acute care settings
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in patient care documentation and electronic health records (EHR)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room with a focus on rapid assessment, intervention, and stabilization
- Monitor patient conditions closely and document all care and observations accurately
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient outcomes
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies with proficient clinical skills
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care instructions
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Active Michigan RN license
- Minimum one year of experience in Emergency Room nursing or equivalent acute care setting
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Compensation
Competitive hourly rate ranging from $61.00 to $72.00, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
