We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiology / Cardiology professional to join our dynamic team. Shift & Schedule

  • Day shift: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
  • Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Requirements & Skills

  • Proficiency with Charting System: Epic required
  • Certifications: ARDMS, ARDMS VT, CCI, or RDCS
  • Current BLS certification
  • Experience in the following ultrasound specialties and procedures:
    • OB/GYN: 1st, 2nd, 3rd trimester, Amniotic fluid index, Fetal Anatomical Survey, Placenta Previa
    • Fetal: Abdomen, Abdominal Circumference, Bone lengths, Cerebellum, Ventricles, Diaphragm, Duodenal Atresia/Intussusception, Fingers/Toes, Gender, Head, Heart
    • Neonatal: Abdomen, Duodenal Atresia/Intussusception, Head (required), Hips (required), Renal, Spine (required)
    • General Ultrasound: Abdominal Aorta, Appendix, Breast (required), Gallbladder, Liver, Pancreas, Pediatric Abdomen/Pelvis, Spleen
    • Vascular: Aorta, Carotid, Color Flow, Doppler Studies, Duplex, Lower and Upper Extremity Arterial and Venous, M-Mode, Renal Artery Duplex
    • Renal/Pelvis: Bladder, Hernia, Ovaries, Renal/Bladder, Transvaginal, Uterus, Vaginal
    • Small Parts: Breast Ultrasound (required), Superficial Masses, Testicles/Scrotum, Thyroid
    • Transplant Studies: Liver (required), Renal (required)
    • Procedures: Paracentesis (required), Ultrasound Guided Biopsy/Fine Needle Aspiration (required)
    • Additional Skills: Adult Echo, Contrast Echo, Echo Stress - Treadmill
    • Equipment Experience: GE systems, PACS
    • Professional Knowledge: Isolation Precautions and PPE protocols
  • No travel experience required

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive ultrasound examinations across multiple specialties including obstetrics, fetal, neonatal, general, vascular, renal/pelvis, and small parts
  • Execute diagnostic procedures such as paracentesis, ultrasound-guided biopsy, and fine needle aspiration with precision and patient safety as a priority
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound and imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and adherence to manufacturer protocols
  • Utilize Epic charting system accurately and thoroughly for documentation of patient data and procedural details
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide diagnostic insights and contribute to patient care planning
  • Adhere strictly to infection control practices, isolation precautions, and PPE guidelines to safeguard patient and staff health
  • Maintain certification and participate in continuing education to stay current with technological advances and best practices in ultrasound diagnostics

Qualifications

  • Valid and current certification in ARDMS, ARDMS VT, CCI, or RDCS
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Demonstrated expertise across a broad range of ultrasound techniques as listed in requirements
  • Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records and related charting systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality
