Requirements and Skills
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in Medical-Surgical nursing and/or General Care Unit (GCU) preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide compassionate patient-centered care
- Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation standards
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med Surg GCU unit
- Monitor patient conditions and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Document all nursing care and patient interactions in compliance with policies
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse license in good standing
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing or a similar nursing field
- Ability to adapt and respond to patient and unit needs quickly
- Commitment to continuous professional development and patient advocacy
Compensation
Hourly rate: $61.00 - $72.00
