Requirements & Skills

• Valid certification as an MRI Technologist (e.g., ARRT MRI certification or equivalent)
• Proven experience performing MRI scans accurately and efficiently
• Strong knowledge of MRI technology, safety protocols, and patient care standards
• Ability to operate mobile MRI equipment and adapt to various work environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
• Must comply with all relevant healthcare regulations and facility policies

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations in a mobile setting according to physician prescriptions
• Operate and maintain mobile MRI equipment, ensuring safety and functionality at all times
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and addressing any concerns
• Maintain accurate records of procedures and ensure confidentiality of patient information
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure diagnostic quality and patient care standards
• Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and regulatory requirements related to MRI procedures

Qualifications

• Certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
• Previous experience in MRI, preferably including mobile imaging
• Strong technical aptitude with MRI equipment and adherence to safety protocols
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in varied clinical and mobile environments
• Valid licensure as required by the state of South Dakota

Compensation: $72.00 - $85.00 per hour
