Join Our Team as a Radiology / Cardiology Professional in Portland, OR

We are actively seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiology / Cardiology professional to join our Electrophysiology Radiology Technologist team. Shift / Schedule

  • Day Shift: 3x12-hour shifts
  • Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in electrophysiology or cardiac radiology
  • Proficient in Epic charting system
  • Current certifications including ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, and Oregon State Licensure (OBMI)
  • Demonstrated expertise in electrophysiology studies such as:
    • Arrhythmia Induction
    • Baseline Measurements
    • Cardiac Ablation
    • Conduction Studies
    • Electrophysiology Evaluation
    • Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Closure
    • Pacemaker Insertion
  • Experience working in an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab setting
  • Proficient with fluoroscopy and Philips imaging equipment
  • Skilled in cardiac cath lab procedures including:
    • Interpretation of dysrhythmias
    • Laser-assisted procedures
    • Permanent Pacemaker Insertion (PPI)
    • Scrub procedures and maintaining a sterile field
    • Watchman device procedures
  • Capable of equipment operation and maintenance, inventory management, and supply stocking
  • Competent in procedural responsibilities including:
    • Performing EKG lead placement
    • Access site preparation
    • Scrubbing and maintaining sterile technique
    • Utilizing vascular closure systems such as Perclose and StarClose
  • Knowledge of sterile technique infection control protocols
  • Additional skills with C-ARM are highly valued
  • No travel experience required

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive electrophysiology studies with precision and adherence to protocols
  • Assist with cardiac catheterization lab procedures including pacemaker insertions and LAA closures
  • Operate and maintain specialized imaging equipment, ensuring its readiness and safety
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including EKG lead placement and access site prep
  • Maintain sterile fields throughout invasive procedures adhering to infection control standards
  • Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias during clinical procedures
  • Manage equipment inventory and ensure supplies are adequately stocked for uninterrupted clinical operations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide exceptional patient-centered care within the EP lab

Qualifications

  • Certified and licensed Radiology Technologist with ARRT R certification
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • Oregon licensure (OBMI) in good standing
  • Strong understanding of electrophysiology and cardiac cath lab procedures
  • Proficiency with Epic charting and healthcare documentation standards
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with an ability to maintain composure in high-stress environments
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards
