Requirements and Skills
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin
- Strong clinical nursing skills with experience in ambulatory or outpatient settings preferred
- Ability to adapt and provide nursing care across multiple specialties within the ambulatory clinic
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and patients
- Strong organizational and critical thinking abilities
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in various ambulatory clinic departments based on float assignments
- Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and implement nursing interventions as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and health maintenance
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Assist with patient flow and clinic operations to enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction
- Adhere to infection control procedures and safety protocols in all aspects of patient care
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Wisconsin
- Previous ambulatory or outpatient nursing experience preferred but not required
- Current BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong commitment to quality patient care and professional development
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate: $59.00 - $69.00
