Shift & Schedule

  • Night Shift: 3x12-hour shifts
  • Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Requirements & Skills

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Washington
  • Experience working in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting
  • Strong clinical skills related to neonatal care including monitoring and managing critically ill infants
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients’ families and healthcare staff
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Commitment to upholding patient safety and quality care standards

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonates in the NICU, including assessment, treatment planning, and monitoring
  • Administer medications, therapies, and interventions safely and accurately according to protocols
  • Collaborate closely with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Educate and support families on infant care plans and progress
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and timely in the medical record
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for neonates
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain nursing skills and stay current in neonatal care best practices

Qualifications

  • Current RN license in the state of Washington
  • Neonatal Nursing Certification (e.g., RNC-NIC) preferred but not required
  • Prior NICU nursing experience strongly preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity clinical setting

Compensation: Earn an hourly rate between $59.00 - $70.00
