Join Our Team as a Radiology / Cardiology Technologist in Pomona, CA
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiology / Cardiology Technologist to join our dynamic team. Shift and Schedule
- Day Shift: 4 days per week (4x10-hour shifts)
- Hours: 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
Requirements and Skills
- Minimum of 2 years Interventional Radiology (IR) technologist experience required
- Neuro experience preferred
- Previous Charge experience preferred
- Certifications required:
- ARRT Registered (R)
- BLS Certification
- Fluoroscopy Permit
- Completion of an IR Tech accredited program
- Proficient in performing neurological studies and procedures including:
- Carotid Angiography
- Discogram
- Embolization
- Stent placement
- Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy
- Vertebroplasty
- Strong professional knowledge with experience in management and leadership roles preferred
- No travel experience required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced interventional radiology and cardiology procedures with precision and adherence to safety protocols
- Conduct neurological imaging studies such as carotid angiograms and vertebroplasties
- Assist physicians in complex procedures including embolizations, stent placements, and thrombectomies
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Lead and coordinate technologist team activities, providing support and guidance as a charge technologist when needed
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and ready for use
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and protocols to protect patients and staff
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited IR Tech program
- Active ARRT Registered technologist status (R) with fluoro permit
- BLS certification current and valid
- Demonstrated competence in neuro-interventional radiology procedures
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced clinical environment
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive hourly pay rate: $67.00 - $79.00 per hour
