Requirements and Skills
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan
- Prior ER nursing experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism and composure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced emergency department environment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to individuals presenting in the emergency department
- Perform comprehensive and timely clinical assessments to prioritize care needs
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
- Monitor patient conditions continuously and respond to critical changes promptly
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, ancillary staff, and multidisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families regarding treatments, procedures, and discharge plans
- Adhere to infection control policies and safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an emergency nursing setting highly preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong clinical skills with ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to delivering compassionate and patient-centered care
Compensation: Earn an attractive hourly rate ranging from $61.00 to $72.00 with weekly pay through Quick2Hire.
