Requirements & Skills

  • Valid CNA certification in the state of Wisconsin
  • Proven experience providing quality patient care in long-term care settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Basic knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
  • Dependable, compassionate, and attentive to patient needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily personal care activities including hygiene, grooming, and mobility
  • Monitor and report changes in patients’ conditions to nursing staff
  • Provide emotional support and promote a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
  • Follow all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
  • Support nursing staff with patient care tasks as needed
  • Adhere to infection control practices to ensure patient and staff safety

Qualifications

  • Current CNA certification in Wisconsin
  • Prior experience in a long-term care or similar healthcare setting preferred
  • Ability to stand, walk, and assist patients for extended periods during shifts
  • Strong commitment to patient privacy and confidentiality (HIPAA compliant)
  • Reliable transportation to and from work locations

Hourly Rate Range: $31.00 - $37.00
