About This Position
CDL is not required for this delivery position but does require a valid SD driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record. Must be at least 21 years old. A background check and a drug screen test are required as conditions of employment. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift up to 150 pound packages but most are much lighter. A years worth of driving experience int the last three years is preferred ( one year work-related driving experience would include: driving vehicles for farmers and ranchers; driving any size of vehicle for work-related purposes such as delivery, sales or transportation for work related activities; as well as driving large commercial vehicles such as trucks and buses.) Drivers with no prior commercial driving experience will go through a paid by the day driver's training class. This position will be working as a full-time driver to deliver packages in and out-of-town route in central South Dakota. This position may generally drive from 300 to 400 miles per day to deliver packages and will work Monday through Friday starting at 7:30 a.m. and go until finished, which will usually be an 8 to 12 hour day. Pay will depend upon experience.
