Requirements & Skills
- Valid and current Occupational Therapist license as required by the state of Wisconsin
- Expertise in assessing, developing, and implementing inpatient OT treatment plans
- Demonstrated ability to provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients’ functional abilities
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Experience with documentation and compliance with regulatory standards
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centered care
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients’ physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals
- Provide hands-on therapy and instruction to patients and caregivers to enhance independence in daily living activities
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional and legal standards
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with inpatient OT best practices
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients at all times
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Wisconsin Occupational Therapist licensure
- Previous inpatient OT experience preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate: $65.00 - $77.00
