Requirements and Skills
- Current and valid CNA certification.
- Proven experience providing direct patient care in a long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of patient hygiene, safety, and comfort needs.
- Ability to assist with daily living activities and monitor patients effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capacity to work collaboratively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living including hygiene, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly to the supervising nursing staff.
- Support residents in maintaining as much independence as possible within a long-term care environment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients at all times.
- Document care provided and observations accurately and timely.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in good standing.
- Previous experience in a long-term care setting is favorable but not required.
- Ability to pass background checks and meet state healthcare requirements.
- Physical ability to perform patient care duties, including lifting and assisting residents.
- Strong work ethic and ability to handle the physical and emotional demands of the role.
Compensation: Earn between $31.00 and $37.00 per hour, paid weekly through Quick2Hire. Benefit from the support of a dedicated recruiter to assist you every step of the way.
