Requirements and Skills

  • Current and valid CNA certification.
  • Proven experience providing direct patient care in a long-term care setting preferred.
  • Strong understanding of patient hygiene, safety, and comfort needs.
  • Ability to assist with daily living activities and monitor patients effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living including hygiene, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
  • Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly to the supervising nursing staff.
  • Support residents in maintaining as much independence as possible within a long-term care environment.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients at all times.
  • Document care provided and observations accurately and timely.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

  • Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in good standing.
  • Previous experience in a long-term care setting is favorable but not required.
  • Ability to pass background checks and meet state healthcare requirements.
  • Physical ability to perform patient care duties, including lifting and assisting residents.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to handle the physical and emotional demands of the role.

Compensation: Earn between $31.00 and $37.00 per hour, paid weekly through Quick2Hire. Benefit from the support of a dedicated recruiter to assist you every step of the way.
