Requirements and Skills
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin
- Experience working in an Emergency Room (ER) or acute care setting preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Room setting
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions as needed
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an emergency or acute care setting preferred
- Current BLS certification required; ACLS certification highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively under stress
- Commitment to providing compassionate and quality care to all patients
Compensation: Hourly rate ranging from $61.00 to $72.00
