Shift and Schedule
- Full-time ICU RN position

- Flexible shift options including days, nights, and weekends
Requirements and Skills
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska
- Clinical experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or critical care setting
- Strong knowledge of ICU protocols, patient monitoring, and critical care interventions
- Ability to perform and interpret complex assessments and clinical data
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) and documentation accuracy
- Ability to respond effectively to emergency situations
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU, ensuring safety and quality of care
- Monitor and assess patient condition continuously, implementing appropriate interventions
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to prescribed protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and update individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families regarding conditions, treatments, and recovery processes
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation
- Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives and professional development
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing program (Associate or Bachelor’s degree)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska
- Prior ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification highly desirable
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
