Requirements and Skills
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, adhering to established nursing protocols and standards
- Monitor patient conditions and maintain accurate medical records
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventative care
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the care process
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and changes in patient status
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Michigan
- Completion of an accredited nursing program (ASN or BSN preferred)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Prior experience in acute care, medical-surgical, or related nursing areas preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Compensation and Benefits
