Requirements & Skills
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Mother-Baby nursing care
- Strong clinical skills in fetal monitoring, patient assessment, and newborn care
- Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care to mothers and newborns
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation standards
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods
- Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs to ensure safety and well-being
- Assist healthcare providers during delivery and related procedures
- Educate and support new mothers on postpartum care and newborn care best practices
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Document patient care accurately in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
- Respond promptly to emergency situations with professionalism and clinical expertise
Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Wisconsin
- Prior experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, or Mother-Baby nursing preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain a positive professional demeanor
Compensation: Hourly Rate of $66.00 - $79.00
