Requirements & Skills
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska
- Previous ICU experience preferred, demonstrating proficiency in critical care nursing practices
- Strong clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
- Ability to operate ICU medical equipment and technology
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary team
- Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, documenting changes accurately and promptly
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians
- Operate and maintain ICU diagnostic and monitoring equipment
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Respond swiftly and effectively to life-threatening situations and emergencies
- Educate patients and their families regarding care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions
- Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program leading to an RN license
- Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of Nebraska
- Demonstrated experience in intensive care nursing
- CPR and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-stress environments
Compensation: Hourly rate ranging from $63.00 to $74.00
