Schedule

Enjoy a consistent day shift schedule working three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, providing a balanced work-life structure.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as an EEG Technician or in a related neurodiagnostic role
• National EEG Technician certification (R.EEGT) is mandatory
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proven skills in electrode placement and various EEG procedures including ambulatory EEG, sleep EEG, seizure studies, and long-term video monitoring
• Experience working in critical and diverse clinical settings such as Adult ICU, Emergency Department, Level 1 Trauma, NICU, and PICU
• Capability to perform portable recording in ICU, NICU, PICU environments
• No travel experience required

Responsibilities

• Perform a comprehensive range of EEG and neurodiagnostic procedures including ambulatory, sleep-deprived, and video-long term monitoring
• Ensure accurate and precise electrode placement and calibration of equipment for reliable data acquisition
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams in critical care units such as Adult ICU, Emergency Department, and Trauma units
• Operate portable recording devices to conduct neurodiagnostic studies in various intensive care settings (ICU, NICU, PICU)
• Maintain high standards of patient care and safety while managing sensitive diagnostic equipment
• Document and report findings meticulously to support clinical decision-making and patient treatment planning
• Stay current with neurodiagnostic protocols and technologies to ensure compliance and enhance procedural efficacy

Qualifications

• National certification as an EEG Technician (R.EEGT) is essential
• Active BLS certification
• At least 2 years of relevant clinical EEG experience, especially in critical and pediatric care units
• Strong technical aptitude with neurodiagnostic monitoring equipment and protocols
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to support interdisciplinary clinical environments
• Ability to manage complex diagnostic procedures efficiently while ensuring patient comfort and safety

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $47.00 to $55.00.
