Join Our Team as a Radiology / Cardiology CT Technologist in Seattle, WA
We are actively seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiology / Cardiology CT Technologist to join our dynamic team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a healthcare professional passionate about delivering exceptional imaging services and advancing patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Night Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
- Hours: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Requirements & Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience
- Proficient in charting systems, specifically Epic
- Required Certifications: ARRT (CT), ARRT (Radiography), BLS, and valid Washington state license
- Experience with the following scanning areas and procedures:
- Abdomen and Pelvis: with and without contrast
- Chest: with and without contrast
- Head and Neck: with and without contrast
- Spine and Musculoskeletal: cervical, lumbar, thoracic, musculoskeletal trauma
- Special Procedures: aspirations and biopsies (required), brain perfusion, vascular CTA
- Work settings experience in Adult Acute Care and Emergency Department environments
- Hands-on proficiency with imaging equipment including GE (required), Siemens, and PACS
- Skilled in image display and post-processing techniques such as Multiplanar Reconstruction (MPR)
- Expertise in preparation and administration of contrast media
- Competency in starting peripheral IVs (required)
- No travel experience required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT scans in accordance with clinical protocols and safety standards
- Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment, including GE and Siemens scanners, ensuring optimal performance
- Prepare patients for CT procedures, including administering contrast media and starting peripheral IVs safely and effectively
- Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, and healthcare teams to obtain required images and support diagnostic accuracy
- Document and chart patient information in Epic accurately and promptly
- Conduct advanced imaging techniques such as multiplanar reconstruction and special procedures like brain perfusion and vascular CTA
- Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and patient care standards in an acute care and emergency environment
- Assist in aspirational and biopsy procedures as required, ensuring patient comfort and procedural success
Qualifications
- Valid ARRT certification in CT and Radiography
- Current BLS certification
- Active Washington state CT technologist license
- Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols, contrast media administration, and peripheral IV insertion
- Proficient with Epic and imaging software tools including PACS
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare team members
- Commitment to maintaining patient safety and high-quality care in a night shift setting
Compensation & Benefits
We offer a competitive hourly rate ranging from $69.00 to $81.00, reflecting your expertise and commitment to excellence in patient care.
