Overview We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) specializing in Oncology to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients, supporting their treatment plans and ensuring optimal comfort and safety. Position - LPN, Oncology Clinic Location - Rapid City, South Dakota Shift - 10-hour day Hours - 40 hours per week Travel Pay: $2228/40 hours Contract Length - 13 weeks Responsibilities: Assessing patients Administering cancer treatments Explaining the treatments and answering questions for patients Managing the side effects of cancer treatments and helping manage pain Monitoring vitals of patients Coordinating the patient’s care with all other providers Supporting the emotional well-being of patients Requirements: 1 year have Oncology experience and must be current experience- Highly Preferred BLS - Required EPIC EMR—Required Experience as first assistant for provider with exams and procedures done in clinic Clinic experience required Rooming patients; VS, Review of Systems, Medication Reconciliation, Weight Benefits and Compensation: Health Insurance (Vision, Medical and Dental through Blue Cross) Referral Bonus 401(k) Investment Plan Personal assistance before, during, and after assignments Assistance for medical compliance requirements.
