Shift Schedule
- Night Shift: 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each
- Hours: 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- Work location: WA PCH CENTRALIA MAIN ST FLOOR – Imaging Area CT Tech Unit
Requirements & Skills
- Minimum of 1 year CT experience preferred
- Certifications required:
- ARRT CT
- ARRT R (Radiologic Technologist)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Washington State licensure
- Competency in performing a broad range of CT imaging procedures including but not limited to:
- Abdomen and Pelvis: Abdomen with or without contrast, colorectal studies (rectal contrast), enterography, intravenous pyelogram, pelvis with or without contrast
- Head and Neck: Carotid imaging, head scans with or without contrast, sinuses, soft tissue neck, trauma head assessments
- Spine and Musculoskeletal: Cervical, lumbar, thoracic spine imaging plus musculoskeletal trauma
- Chest: Chest scans with or without contrast, cardiac imaging such as calcium scoring and coronary angiography, vascular chest imaging including pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta
- Special Procedures: Coronary CTA
- Proficient with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems)
- Experience with preparation and administration of contrast media
- Additional skills in diagnostic X-Ray imaging
- No travel experience required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures within the adult acute care, pediatric acute care, emergency department, and outpatient settings
- Prepare and administer contrast media safely and accurately according to protocols
- Operate and maintain CT equipment and utilize PACS for image storage and transmission
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures, adhering to radiation safety guidelines
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists, cardiologists, and medical staff to provide timely and precise diagnostic images
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation and reporting of imaging procedures
- Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with best practices and technological advances
Qualifications
- Current ARRT certification in CT and Radiologic Technology (ARRT CT and ARRT R)
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Washington State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in advanced CT imaging across multiple anatomical areas
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient and team interactions
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high standards of care and safety
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate: $69.00 - $81.00
