Shift and Schedule

Requirements and Skills

  • Current and valid RN license in the state of Nebraska
  • Proven experience working in an ICU or critical care setting
  • Strong knowledge of critical care procedures and equipment
  • Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for critically ill patients
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to respond effectively to emergency situations
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting
  • Monitor patient conditions closely and report any changes to the healthcare team promptly
  • Administer medications, therapies, and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Operate and maintain ICU-specific medical equipment effectively and safely
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Educate patients and families about care plans and critical care processes
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse license in Nebraska
  • Experience in ICU or critical care nursing preferred
  • Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making abilities
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate ranging from $63.00 to $74.00
