Requirements & Skills
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of South Dakota
- Experience in Emergency Room (ER) and/or Medical-Surgical nursing
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the ER and Medical-Surgical units
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams
- Monitor patient conditions and promptly respond to changes in their status
- Administer medications and treatments safely according to established protocols
- Document nursing care and patient responses accurately and timely
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Valid RN license for South Dakota
- Experience in ER and/or Med Surg nursing preferred
- Current BLS certification, ACLS certification advantageous
- Strong interpersonal skills and dedication to patient-centered care
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive hourly pay ranging from $55.00 to $65.00
