Requirements & Skills
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing, with strong clinical skills in maternal and fetal monitoring
- Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to provide compassionate care under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to laboring women, including continuous fetal monitoring and assessment
- Collaborate closely with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate and support patients and their families throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with healthcare standards
- Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in patient condition with appropriate interventions
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Registered Nurse licensure in good standing
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in Labor and Delivery nursing preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development
Compensation: Hourly rate of $72.00 - $85.00, with weekly pay through Quick2Hire.
