About This Position
Staffmax Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility (LTC/SNF) travel assignment. This is a great opportunity for nurses with strong geriatric care experience who are comfortable working in a structured, patient-centered care environment.

What You’ll Do
Provide nursing care to residents in a Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility setting
Monitor patient conditions and report changes appropriately
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Support care plans and assist with resident-centered outcomes
Collaborate with CNAs, nursing staff, providers, and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility protocols
Promote resident safety, dignity, and comfort
Required Experience
Minimum 2 years of RN experience – Required
LTC/SNF experience preferred
Strong assessment and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and manage patient care priorities
Requirements
Active South Dakota RN License OR Compact RN License – Required
BLS Certification – Required
Ability to work in a fast-paced LTC/SNF environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
