Requirements and Skills
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in Emergency Room (ER) and/or Medical-Surgical nursing
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage multiple patients and prioritize care effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the ER and Med Surg units
- Assess patient conditions, identify changes, and implement appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Administer medications and treatments accurately following protocols
- Document all nursing care and patient interactions thoroughly and timely
- Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license in good standing
- Minimum of one year nursing experience in ER and/or Medical-Surgical settings
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate between $55.00 - $65.00
