Shift and Schedule

- Schedule: Full-time, with flexibility to support 24/7 ICU coverage
Requirements and Skills
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin
- Proven experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Surgical ICU (SICU) setting
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to operate and interpret advanced medical equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to provide compassionate patient- and family-centered care
- Adaptability and resilience in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive critical care to adult patients in the Surgical ICU, including monitoring, administering medications, and managing life-support equipment
- Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and implement appropriate interventions
- Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Educate patients and families on health status, treatment plans, and post-ICU care
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN licensure in Wisconsin
- ICU/SICU clinical experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a team-oriented environment
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate: $63.00 – $74.00
