Requirements & Skills

  • Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Proven experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
  • Strong knowledge of critical care procedures and protocols
  • Ability to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients
  • Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for multidisciplinary team environments
  • Capable of working efficiently in high-pressure situations

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
  • Monitor patient status and interpret vital signs, lab results, and diagnostic data
  • Administer medications, treatments, and advanced interventions in accordance with physician orders and ICU protocols
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care protocols
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and clinical observations
  • Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

  • Active RN licensure in Nebraska or eligible for licensure
  • Minimum 1-2 years of ICU nursing experience strongly preferred
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred
  • Strong commitment to continuing education and professional growth
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Compensation: Hourly rate ranging from $63.00 to $74.00, with weekly pay facilitated by Quick2Hire.
