Requirements & Skills
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Proven experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
- Strong knowledge of critical care procedures and protocols
- Ability to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients
- Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for multidisciplinary team environments
- Capable of working efficiently in high-pressure situations
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Monitor patient status and interpret vital signs, lab results, and diagnostic data
- Administer medications, treatments, and advanced interventions in accordance with physician orders and ICU protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and clinical observations
- Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Active RN licensure in Nebraska or eligible for licensure
- Minimum 1-2 years of ICU nursing experience strongly preferred
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred
- Strong commitment to continuing education and professional growth
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Compensation: Hourly rate ranging from $63.00 to $74.00, with weekly pay facilitated by Quick2Hire.
