We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiology / Cardiology professional to join our team on the Ultrasound Inpatient PAMC unit. Shift Information
- Evening Shift: 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts
- Hours: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Requirements & Skills
- Experience in Radiology and Cardiology, specifically ultrasound diagnostics in an inpatient setting
- Ability to perform accurately and efficiently during evening hours
- Strong understanding of ultrasound equipment and protocols
- Excellent patient communication and care skills
- Detail-oriented with the capability to adhere to safety and quality standards
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct ultrasound imaging procedures for radiology and cardiology patients following established protocols
- Prepare and maintain imaging equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety
- Accurately document and interpret diagnostic results for review by physicians
- Provide compassionate patient care and education during procedures to ensure comfort and understanding
- Collaborate closely with medical staff to support timely and accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
- Adhere strictly to infection control and equipment sterilization guidelines
Qualifications
- Valid certification or licensure in Radiologic Technology or Cardiac Sonography
- Proven experience working in inpatient ultrasound departments
- Familiarity with relevant healthcare regulations and compliance standards
- Strong organizational and critical thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Compensation and Additional Benefits
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $63.00 - $74.00.
