Join Our Team as a Radiology / Cardiology Specialist in Anchorage, AK

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiology / Cardiology professional to join our team on the Ultrasound Inpatient PAMC unit. Shift Information

  • Evening Shift: 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts
  • Hours: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM

Requirements & Skills

  • Experience in Radiology and Cardiology, specifically ultrasound diagnostics in an inpatient setting
  • Ability to perform accurately and efficiently during evening hours
  • Strong understanding of ultrasound equipment and protocols
  • Excellent patient communication and care skills
  • Detail-oriented with the capability to adhere to safety and quality standards
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct ultrasound imaging procedures for radiology and cardiology patients following established protocols
  • Prepare and maintain imaging equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety
  • Accurately document and interpret diagnostic results for review by physicians
  • Provide compassionate patient care and education during procedures to ensure comfort and understanding
  • Collaborate closely with medical staff to support timely and accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Adhere strictly to infection control and equipment sterilization guidelines

Qualifications

  • Valid certification or licensure in Radiologic Technology or Cardiac Sonography
  • Proven experience working in inpatient ultrasound departments
  • Familiarity with relevant healthcare regulations and compliance standards
  • Strong organizational and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $63.00 - $74.00.
